Praise God for another blessed day. Cara’s surgery has been tentatively booked for Wednesday or Thursday. The suspected infection appears to be well under control. We are thankful to God that it was caught early, because it had the potential to cause a lot of problems. The endocrine team is happy with her blood sugar levels and her kidney function indicators are within normal range. She had been on muscle relaxants since she was put on the ventilator. As they are weaning her off, we are enjoying seeing her open her eyes to peak at us again. Alex also loves telling her stories. We give God all the praise for answering the many prayers offered up for Cara.
