"We are very surprised with how well she is doing." These are the words of one of Cara's nurses today. We have only heard positive reports since she returned from surgery 22 hours ago. Her heart rate and rhythm have remained stable, her blood pressure and blood sugars are good, her kidneys are doing their job well and continued bleeding has not been an issue. For all this we give praise and thanks to God for hearing prayer and working in such clearly awesome ways. She still has a long way to go on the road to recovery but we know she remains in the hands of our faithful God.

"Praise be to the Lord for He has heard my cry for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him in song."
Psalm 28:6-7

  7. We have been "out of the loop" for a number of days because of travel and it was with some hesitation that I opened your blog a few minutes ago. What it joy it was to read the opening words to this message. We rejoice with you and will continue to uphold all of you in our prayers.
